Things went black about 6:30 pm last night. We reached out to the house owner and he calmly replied that if power wasn’t on by tomorrow morning we could reach out to him. This morning it was not on, so we went up to this local bakery to get cafè long and a blueberry tart. Here is a link to Paul. Payer by carte.. They say it so fast it sounds like pay by cart. Basically meaning, ¨Are you paying by a credit card?¨ I don’t know if this is a fact everywhere but, we ordered a cafe long and an Americano this morning and they were not the same thing. So far we have gotten 2 baguettes for the day every morning. This could turn into a habit….
We met our house owner this morning and he advised us to not turn the oven and dishwasher on at the same time or our breaker would turn off. (Lydia might have to stop multitasking :). Sebastian was his name, really nice man. He may even have some leads on finding a house for duration of our stay.

We are hoping to get into French studies next week. We are able to get by everywhere so far, but really would like to get a good conversation going. It tends to stay in the small talk category when we use English.
Bella asked yesterday, ¨Why do the ambulances and fire trucks sound like Ice cream trucks?¨

Tyson and I went down to the visitor center today in the town square. The lady was very sweet and accomadating. She was as shy with her English speaking as we were with our French! :) She gave us recommendations for locale food and even some ideas for a French school. We chatted awhile and I bought a few carte postale (post cards) to send in the mail. If you get one :) you will know where they were from! Ill take a short walk to the Poste On Lundi (Monday) and maybe, just maybe you will receive it in 10 days…if we are lucky!
